Magnum Opus

It goes without saying that most people live their lives half asleep. So why did I just say it, if it “goes without saying”, you may wonder? Well, because, when you look at the current state of affairs worldwide, it’s quite evident a great number are starting to wake up. Interestingly, those who’ve been awake for a while and live life with eyes wide open, are finding that is no longer sustainable. Leaving behind the waking world for a higher conscious existence. Yet, within that, comes a certain understanding of the limitations of such an undertaking. For the higher consciousness does not sustain the body in which we are contained. Meaning, that we cannot “live” inside of the higher consciousness, only experience it for brief moments. It is in those brief moments where the true understanding of why we are here becomes clear. Unfortunately, they do not really translate into the physical realm, and therefore get “lost in translation”. Hence, the dichotomy exists, one foot in each world. The Yin in the Yang, and vice versa. No matter how much we may desire to live within that higher plane, the reality that we cannot, becomes greater than the desire, and we are forced back into this heaviness we call physical life, or the lower realm. While it may seem a futile goal to some, those who have experienced the higher realms understand the importance of them. See, the higher realms not only allow us to connect with Ein Sof (the One), they also allow for a detached observation of the lower realm. Bringing about a deeper understanding of why we exist in such a limited capacity. It is not enough to merely exist in the lower realm, though most people only achieve this level. It is ingrained into our very being to long for the higher realms, thus bringing a person to the questions of why we are here. And if the questions exist in this lower realm, why do so many scoff at the prospect of existence beyond? And if one experiences those higher realms, even if just for a moment, it then becomes real, yes? So, if those higher realms are real, why can we not “live” there? The answer isn’t what you would want to hear, but must accept. The higher realms exist beyond the physical existence. And since we are ensouled bodies and embodied souls, “living” in the higher realms becomes impossible while we still possess physical bodies. But, when we sleep, we can leave those bodies behind and exist within the higher realms. So, the question becomes, are we solid matter, or are we energy? Ah, the ultimate questions begin. Do we exist merely in physical form, or are we more than our bodies? Are we here to seek truth of knowledge, or are we just existing? These are the questions that have plagued me all my life. They are my impetus for my magnum opus, if you will. My desire to write great works that compel one to deep contemplation of the truth of why.

State of Flux

Where we are versus where we are supposed to be is the crux of our situation. We, meaning humanity, are in a perpetual state of flux, as it were, due to competing ideologies. These ideologies are not only competing, they are in stark contrast to each other and cannot, by nature, compromise. There is no reasoning with either side to come to an agreement for the sake of peace. No, both sides have their heels dug in deep and refuse to budge. And why should they? Both have very strong ideas of how humanity is to progress forward and both have grievances of the other side. So which one is right? That is the real question we need to answer. The truth is, neither side is right and neither side is wrong, because they are both right and they are both wrong. The problem has more to do with perceived power. When in reality, the power never belonged to any of us in the first place. Power, you see, is perceived to be the end goal for those who tend toward the ego, not the spirit, or essence of who we really are. For those who live in the essence of life understand the end goal is expansion. Power, stunts growth, expansion champions it. And growth isn’t about some “Great Reset”, growth is the natural progression of a free society. Growth is the end result of communities working together, yet allowing for individual freedom. Governance only works properly when done small and left to local municipalities. This is not a mutable nor debatable statement, it is truth. All one must do is look throughout history and notice the pattern of how empires rise and then fall. They fall because they get too big and can no longer adapt as quickly nor efficiently, thus creating a stagnating society. And as unfortunate as it is to say, the United States is at that point.

Remember, in order to grow, a society MUST acknowledge their own stagnation and consciously choose to change it. But that doesn’t mean dismantle it and rebuild. No, it means looking at what is of value and what can be thrown away. Community is valuable, identity politics is NOT! Acceptance is freeing, judgment is confining. Massive government has no ability or capacity to provide for all citizens, but small, community based governments do.

So where can we affect real change, and how? Find the things of intrinsic value to you and focus on those. Stop paying any attention to the things and people who devalue you and what you stand for. Stop giving your hard earned dollars to corporate oligarchs. Think local, act local, buy local. Grow your own food and share with your neighbors. Find out what they can trade or do for you. Band together with them, regardless of political affiliation (if there comes a day when we no longer have a government, or we’re at war, you’ll want to know who and what your neighbors are, for many reasons). Build valuable skills to contribute to your community, so you can all become self-sustaining. These elites cannot control the masses if the masses refuse to listen or fall in line.
